Biopeks is a Turkish B2B export company headquartered in Akşehir, Konya, working hand-in-hand with certified organic producers across Anatolia’s fertile lands. Since 2016, we have been delivering Turkey’s soil heritage to global markets with EU Organic, USDA Organic, and Turkish Organic Agriculture certifications.
Our Story
Biopeks was founded at the intersection of respect for the Anatolian farmer’s land and the rigor of international organic standards. In 2016, in the Akşehir district of Konya, a team of agricultural professionals set out with a mission: to combine traditional Turkish farming knowledge with modern certification processes, and to bring small and mid-scale producers’ goods to the global market.
In our early years, we conducted on-site visits with local farmers, provided organic-transition consulting, and prepared producers for international certification. Today, we work with an organic producer network across Konya, Karaman, Niğde, Aksaray, and Afyon — covering Central Anatolia — and manage every step from harvest to packaging under our own supervision.

Our Vision
By 2030, we aim to lead Turkey’s organic IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) fruit and vegetable exports. We will continue offering Anatolia’s traditional products — especially sour cherry, cherry, strawberry, fig, pomegranate, and black mulberry — to the food processing industries of Europe and the Americas in standardized, certified form.

We work with our contracted producers on long-term, fair contract-farming terms. We provide technical support from seed to harvest and guarantee product price before harvest.

Why Akşehir, Konya?
Akşehir, located in Konya province of Central Anatolia, is one of Turkey’s oldest agricultural basins — thanks to the mineral-rich volcanic soils of Mount Hasan, its continental climate, and a millennia-old farming tradition. Cereals, legumes, spices, and fruits have been cultivated on these lands since the Hittite, Phrygian, Roman, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods.
Akşehir is particularly known worldwide for its cherry, sour cherry, and pomegranate; it hosts geographically protected products like Akşehir Cherry and Akşehir Apricot. At Biopeks, we combine this legacy with modern certification and IQF freezing technology.
Our Production & Processing Facility
Our 1,500 m² processing facility in the Akşehir Organized Industrial Zone houses HACCP-compliant washing, sorting, quality control, IQF freezing, and packaging operations. Our cold storage maintains -25 °C and keeps seasonal harvests ready for shipment year-round.
Export Markets
We maintain regular shipments to European Union member states — Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Poland; to North America — United States and Canada; to Gulf countries — United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait; and to the Turkish food industry domestically.
